I am a recent immigrant to Austin. I have joined the AmeriCorps program and will be heading up an afterschool science club for at-risk elementary school kids.

I have a background in psychology and am considering graduate school in social psych.

I am an adult child of an alcoholic so I’m very into 12-Step stuff, self-healing, emotional control, etc etc.

I’m also interested in being an advocate for other abused kids, but I haven’t quite found my niche yet.

In the meantime, I’m going to need classroom management skills and remedial Spanish lessons to survive this new teaching job!!!
